Women’s Cycling Team 2021
Ana Bianchi Drago
Born in: Brazil
Lives in: Copley
Profession: Dance Educator
Favorite thing about cycling: the feel of freedom I get with the wind in my face. The perfect speed that still allows me the views and smell of nature.
Favorite non-cycling activity: hiking, dancing and cooking.
If you could spend one full day with anyone in the world (real or fictional, living or dead), who would it be, and what would you do? As I’m seeking my Italian citizenship, and I’m gathering documents and learning more about my ancestors, I wish I could be with my great- grandparents, revisit their hometowns in Italy and hear all about their stories there and their memories of their migration to Brazil.
Rebecca Friedberg
Born in: Cleveland
Lives in: Cleveland
Profession: Student
Favorite thing about cycling: the camaraderie and encouragement I get from other cyclists. And, there's always something new to discover so I'm never at a loss of what to do.
Favorite non-cycling activity: Travel, triathlons, and spending time with my friends
What do you wish you got for Christmas, but didn’t? A bike trailer to put my camping gear in for future bike trips. It was going to be a present for myself.
Beth Kalapos
Born in: Cleveland
Lives in: Lakewood Ohio – but much to my Mom’s dismay since she is on the east side…it’s like a foreign country!
Profession: Architect and Federal Program Manager. During one of my site visits I got to walk Bo, President Obama’s dog, and show him off to the 8th graders. With his handler looking on, of course.
Favorite thing about cycling: Drafting and riding in a pace line. Feels so free and effortless especially with the wind in the right direction.
Favorite non-cycling activity: Traveling and meeting new people- making a personal connection with those I meet. Better than any souvenir!
Before I die, I want to: Take all of my nieces and nephews on a month-long trip to Croatia.

Favorite thing about cycling: The mind game and watching how myself and my teammates improve.
Favorite non-cycling activity: gaming, cooking, and bullet-journaling
